We will train your dog to come when you call them, and teach your dog how to stay close to you while off-leash. This training is not only a helpful tool for dog owners to help teach their dogs to come when called, It is also the FOUNDATION to all our training, and drastically helps solve most of your problem behaviors Book now to educate your pet to behave better.

*Price does not include e-collar. one year guarantee on the training results. DO NOT PAY UNTIL TRAINING IS COMPLETE. The price is $500.00 and includes as many sessions as needed to get your dog OFF LEASH trained. We never want your money until you are happy with the results. We will recommend a proper E collar for your dog, based on our evaluation during the training sessions and or upfront conversations with you prior to their arrival. We will need to know a few things to best direct you on the E collar that will best serve your dogs training needs. In general we can't guarantee the training if you choose a different E collar, but we will still help you no matter what collar you choose.
Here is a list of the collars we recommend and their pupose:

Garmin Alpha 300i with TT25 Collar for all hunting dogs. This collar has GPS capabilities that far exceed any other collar on the market that we know of. Brett uses these for his own hunting dogs, and has taken them to South Dakota, Wyoming, Michigan and all over OHIO. They provide the longest GPS tracking range and most functions. They are very expensive at around $1200 for a hand held unit and collar. They will also link with any Garmin smart watch, and will track and train up to 16 dogs.

Garmin Pro 550+ with TT25 Collars. This collar also has GPS capabilities but the range for the GPS tracking is far less than the Alpha series. Usually about 2 miles. However it is much simpler to use in the field. It also will pair with Garmin smart watches. Pricing is about $750. You can track and train up to 3 dogs at once.

Dogtra Pathfinder. This is a very good collar for GPS tracking for a very reasonable price. At around $429 on GUN DOG SUPPLY or Plum Creek Outdoors, it is our best pick for value and tracking ability. You do have to use your cell phone for the app to track your dog in real time. Sometimes you can not get a GPS signal where you are hunting so you will need to download a map of the area prior to visiting that area. It has up to a 9 mile range and you can track and train up to 21 dogs.

Tractive GPS tracking. This is a small unit that attaches to any dog collar and tracks your dog in real time with GPS tracking. We started using these on all the dogs we walk at the kennel for added security. They are about $50 bucks a month depending on the size you choose. You will need to pay a monthly subscription ranging from $5 dollars per month for the longest length of service to $12 dollars per month for the shortest. These are great for people that can't afford or justify the larger costs of the other GPS units. They seem to work very well though not as detailed as the Garmin Alpha, Pro 55+, and Dogtra Pathfinder. Add a general training collar and you can start tracking and training your dog right away.

TRAINING ONLY COLLARS.

Dogtra 1900 series collars are great for larger dogs. They vibration mode is HUGE. The battery lasts about a week on both the hand held and collar. Very easy to use. Costs is about $215

Mini Educator Series. These are great and have a different size for all dogs. Easy to use and very effective. Always get the larger size if you dog is bigger than a toy dog. They are priced about $200 to $300.

Garmin Pro 70. I use this system around the house for general obedience for ALL of my dogs, and on almost every dog that stays with me down in the Lower Hill Kennel. Mostly for dogs whose owners already use E collars. They have a easy to use system and can have up to 6 dogs on one hand held. I love the LIGHT for night time potty breaks. I can see where your dog is in the dark.

Brett Highly Recommends Gun Dog Supply for online purchases. They are a great family owned company that stands behind their products. He also loves to support local businesses. Plum Creek Outfitters on Route 43 just south of 224 is a great local business that is family owned. They can order the same collars for the same prices, usually and you will be supporting local small businesses. They also sell great monogramed collars that they can engrave for you on site while you wait.
